Our Vision…

Hope First Wesleyan obeys the call to be missionaries in the place God has put us with our work, relationships, and involvement in our community to meet people at the intersections of their lives and lead them to the cross where they experience the love and forgiveness of our Heavenly Father; learning to become Disciples and help make Disciples for the name of Jesus Christ.

What we believe…

The Wesleyan church is a part of the Holiness movement.  We believe the Holy Bible to be the true word of God and we believe that the Bible is the only book to be taken with the full authority of God.  (2 Timothy 3:16, Proverbs 30:6, Revelations 22:18-19) We believe in the Trinity of God the Father, God the Son, and Holy Spirit as one. (Genesis 1:26a, Matthew 3:16-17, John 1:1-4&14-18, John 16:5-11, Matthew 17:5) We hold to the truth that God sent His son Jesus who was fully God and fully man to die on the cross for our sins and was risen three days later and ascended into Heaven (John 3:16, Matthew 28, Acts 1:1-11) and will return for the final victory at which the Saints in Christ will be called to Heaven for eternity.  We believe in the Great Commission that God has called all of us to spread the Gospel to the ends of the earth making disciples for Jesus and baptizing them in the name of Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:16-19)
